Los Angeles, CA — November 16, 2025. The Los Angeles Lakers capped off one of their most commanding performances of the season, steamrolling the Milwaukee Bucks 119–95 despite arriving on the second night of a tough back-to-back.
Luka Dončić was simply unstoppable:
41 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals, and elite efficiency from deep and at the line. It was the kind of performance that not only powered the Lakers, but sent a message to the rest of the Western Conference.
Lakers Take Control Early — and Never Look Back
The tone was set immediately with a pull-up jumper from Austin Reaves, and the Lakers never trailed.
- End of Q1: 30–18 Lakers
- Halftime: an unbelievable 65–34
Milwaukee looked overwhelmed, committing 10 turnovers before the break while the Lakers rained threes (13-of-33 overall) and attacked the paint relentlessly.
Giannis Antetokounmpo tried to keep Milwaukee afloat with 32 points and 10 rebounds, but the supporting cast collapsed around him. The Bucks shot 40% from the field, struggled defending the perimeter, and simply couldn’t match the Lakers’ energy.
Third-Quarter Push? Denied.
Milwaukee briefly cut the deficit to 70–54, but Reaves and Dončić immediately slammed the door shut with a 22–10 Lakers run that ended all hope of a comeback.
